3 Ingredient Cheesecake Dip - Fast, Creamy, Crowd-Pleasing

Prep Time5 minutes
Total Time5 minutes
Servings: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • Cream cheese (8 ounces), softened to room temperature
  • Powdered sugar (also called confectioners’ sugar)
  • Heavy cream (or whipping cream)

Instructions

  • Soften the cream cheese. Take it out of the fridge 30–45 minutes before you start. Room-temperature cream cheese blends smoothly and prevents lumps.
  • Beat the cream cheese. In a mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese on medium speed for 1–2 minutes until very smooth and fluffy. Scrape the bowl as needed.
  • Add the powdered sugar. Sprinkle in the powdered sugar a little at a time, mixing on low at first to avoid a sugar cloud. Then increase to medium until fully combined and silky.
  • Stream in the heavy cream. With the mixer running on medium, slowly pour in the heavy cream. Mix until the dip is thick, creamy, and holds soft peaks. Don’t overbeat—stop once it looks lush and spreadable.
  • Taste and adjust. If you prefer it sweeter, add a bit more powdered sugar. For a looser dip, mix in a splash more cream. For extra tang, beat in a spoonful of sour cream (optional).
  • Serve or chill. Spoon into a serving bowl and top with fresh berries, crushed graham crackers, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Serve right away, or chill for 30–60 minutes to firm up.
